MARCEL CONTINUES THE LEGACY
Marcel Valsuani Birth Certificate (1902)

Primary civil registry document recording the birth of Marcel Charles Valsuani on 8 November 1902 at 66 Avenue de Châtillon, Paris 14e (act registered 11 November 1902), son of “Claude François, Ange, Roch Valsuani”, aged twenty-six, fondeur. This certificate establishes the genealogical line Carlo → Claude → Marcel, directly refuting any suggestion of a founder named “Marcello”. The given name “Marcel” is unambiguously French, not Italian, making the later “Marcello” misattribution visibly absurd to any reader of this document.
Correction note (7 September 2026): earlier versions of this page dated the certificate to 1901. Re-examination of the document itself — which reads “l’an mil neuf cent deux, le onze novembre… né le huit courant” and is stamped “Naissance 11 Novembre 1902, Paris 14e” — establishes 1902. The 1967 Ordre National du Mérite nomination form independently confirms 8 November 1902. We correct our own errors by the same primary-source standard we apply to everyone else’s.
